Decided to have lunch at the Press Grill last week. 'The Press' as it is known to the regulars love the casual atmosphere in the middle of the Short North. This is a friendly neighborhood bar and grill where you can expect a quick lunch, a late bite, or just a place to sit and watch the game with a couple of beers. There is a jukebox wit a little bit of everything.

There is an 'open' kitchen where your meals are prepared mere feet away from your table (which helps if at the last minute you realize you didn't want jalapenos on that sandwich. There is a daily special (2/$3 Nathan's hotdogs, Thanksgiving Thursdays, and Sunday Strip Steak dinners to name a few). The kitchen has a soup of the day and is open till 1am every night.

There is a wide variety of draught beers as well as a selection of bottles and a full bar. The bartenders and servers are all very easy on the eyes, keep up with sports on the local and national levels AND they all know how to mix a proper cocktail.

Not a large space but roomy enough to be comfortable. Plenty of tables and a long bar to sit at with four tv's so you can always watch the Buckeyes!!!

I went for the daily special 2/$3 Nathan's hotdogs your way (the fries were extra). Nathan's are one of the greatest hotdogs ever created!!
