Product Description

You will receive three dragon tree plants, each growing in a 6" pot, variety sent will vary. Dracaena is a genus of forty species of subtropical, evergreen, woody plants grown for their statuesque form and ornamental foliage. They are sometimes mistakenly identified as palms but are actually more closely related to lilies. The name Dracaena is derived from the Greek word “drakaina”, a female dragon. The link between plant and beast is the resinous red gum produced when the stem is cut which, when thickened, is supposed to resemble dragon’s blood. It is used as a varnish and in photo engraving. An easy to grow house plant. Provide bright, indirect light and keep evenly moist, not wet or dry. Trim as needed. Native of western tropical Africa rainforest region. Bamboo-like cane stems.

    The plants came in perfectly shape very well paquette, the plants are beautiful wish could loud up picture of them , very reasonable prices , excellent place to buy plants. Highly recommend this place.

    I've ordered several house plants from Hirt's over the past month, and been very pleased. But House of Dragons just takes the cake! 3 big and gorgeous 6" Dracaenas - and 3 different types - Limelight (swoon!), Kiwi (I think!) and Marginata. And seriously, the price...It came to $8.99 per plant - including shipping. I'm thrilled! Thanks Hirt's Gardens!

    I was a little nervous about ordering plants by mail in November but I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality Hirt’s provides. My plants came healthy and beautiful! They took time carefully pack my plants for shipping and even included heat bags. I was so very impressed! I immediately placed another order and a couple friends are placing some too. I highly recommend!!
