Indecent Obsession

The main reason why I make a page on Indecent Obsession is because I couldn't find anything about them on the net. I myself don't know much about the band. The band's history was stolen from David Dixon Page, and so was the picture.

It was 1987 when David Dixon (vocal) took a singing lesson and met Michael Szumowski (keyboards). They formed Indecent Obsession together with guitarist Andrew Coyne and drummer Darryl Sims. Their first single "Say Goodbye" went to Top 20 on America's Billboard Hot 100.

They released their second album Indio on 1992 and hit the radios with a hot number "Kiss Me" and "Gentleman Style". The band's name was changed into Obsession in several countries because the name "Indecent Obsession" was a bit too indecent and could not be translated if you know what I mean…

Before they released their third album, two members decided to quit the band. David Dixon quit the band to be an actor. He has played in several operas and TV shows since 1993. Andrew Coyne wanted to try his luck in the US. I haven't heard anything about him after then.

Two British guys took over their seats. Richard Hennassey (vocals) an Graham Kearns (guitars). They were back with their old name Indecent Obsession, released Relativity and hit UK and Asia charts with their single "Fixing a Broken Heart" - duet with Mari Hamada.

It's such a shame that I don't know what they're doing lately. All I know was that Dixon now becomes an actor... but the others seem to vanish... can anybody tell me?

The band's old formation: Andrew Coyne(g), David Dixon(v), Darryl Sims(d), Michael Szumowski(k)

.... I hope I didn't mess up with the names for I only sure about which one is Andrew.....
I'll put the new formation pic if I can get a scanner, OK?
