Be has EXCLUSIVELY unveiled retro footage of Bec Hewitt nee Cartwright preparing for her first ever Logie Awards at her family home in Sydney just nights before the big event.

Glowing with blushes, Bec sweetly parades a silky purple gown for her family and friends before the cameraman tells her "get in the light for this, Bec."

The then 15-year-old actress waltzes into the fluro green vintage kitchen to show off her frock while her mum tells her how pretty she looks.

"Isn't she beautiful," Bec's mum tells the group.

"It's dragging on the ground, I gotta take it up a bit."

Bec's mates go on to give their thoughts on her hair style, shoes and potential accessories to make that 1999 look complete.

"Is that how you're going to have your hair up like that?" asked the guy behind the camera.

"I dunno yet," Bec replied in her best ocker accent.
