Commentary

Floor type enclosure using front loading horn system.

The 4550 is designed for use below 800 Hz.
The internal enclosure is sealed and plays low frequencies up to 50 Hz and improves efficiency by 6 dB above 100 Hz.
The directivity is 75 ° horizontal and 30 ° vertical at 800 Hz.

The unit is equipped with two 38 cm diameter speakers.

Initially, there are 2 color variations of black and gray, 4550 sf is finished in gray and 4550 bk is finished in black.
In the catalog photo, there is no logo on the side in the early stage, and there is JBL logo on the side from around 1978.
