The 5 Faces of Chyna: A Look Back at Diva Turned Adult Film Star

0 of 5

On the heels of Chyna's new skin flick announcement , I decided to take a look back at her career.

Chyna was an interesting character during her run with the WWE. She pretty much ran the gamut in terms of on-air characters. The only thing she hadn't done by the time she left was announce or commentate. Over the course of her career, she managed, wrestled and played instigator.

She was able to manage Hall of Famers like Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero and future inductee Triple H. Once her time as D-X's enforcer/manager ran it's course, she moved into wrestling. Chyna was successful as a main event wrestler in the Divas division and as a mid-carder in the men's division.

She helped boost or rejuvenate the careers of Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho and Triple H. Chyna was once considered a surefire Hall of Famer, as many felt she broke the mold when it came to the image of women in wrestling. Sadly, with her latest carer choice, she will probably never get that nod.

So without further ado, here's a look at the five faces of Chyna.

Enforcer/Manager

In 1996 Chyna burst onto the scene, playing the role of manager/enforcer for the pompous Hunter Hurst Helmsley.

As their partnership on-air grew, so did an off-air relationship. Eventually the two would find themselves part of the notorious faction D-X.

Later in her career, she would play the role of manager and love interest as Eddie Guerrero's "mamacita."

A few years after D-X was formed, Chyna found herself stepping into the ring against both men and women.

She was successful against both, being named a one-time Women's champ and a three-time Intercontinental champion. Her most notable feuds were against Jeff Jarrett, Chris Jericho, Ivory and Lita.

Most recently, she teamed with Kurt Angle to face Jeff and Karen Jarrett in a mixed tag-team match for WWE rival TNA.

Fitness Expert

Once Chyna's WWE career came to an end, she attempted to start a career in fitness training.

She landed her own company and started the website bodybyjoanie.com. Using her real name Joanie Laurer, she was featured on several talk shows where she promoted her training program.

Sadly, this career option never panned out, and the website is now defunct.

Once Body By Joanie failed, Chyna was able to continue a career in television.

She had two-stints on VH1's The Surreal Life, she was featured on an episode of Celebrity Rehab and she made appearances on Fear Factor and Family Feud.

Chyna also holds the distinction of acting in Anna Nicole Smith's final movie.

Adult Film Star

Chyna is currently slated to star in her second adult film.

Apparently she recently approached adult filmakers Vivid Entertainment about rejuvenating her XXX career. Her first video was a "leaked" tape with her and former boyfriend Sean Waltman, aka X-Pac.

However, her first encounter with the adult industry came when she posed for Playboy while she was still with the WWE.
