Factory Five ’33 Ford Hot Rod

This Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod is finished in gray with custom pinstriping over a black leather interior. Power is provided by an Engine Factory-built Ford 347ci V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and an 8.8″ rear end with a limited-slip differential. Additional features include disc brakes, Boyd Coddington wheels, a removable hardtop roof, air conditioning, a tilt steering column, a Bluetooth-equipped audio system, and more. This Factory Five Hot Rod was acquired by the current owner in winter 2019 and is now offered on dealer consignment with an assembly manual, a build list, and a clean Florida title listing it as a 1933 Ford Roadster Replica.

The fiberglass body is finished in gray with dark gray and red pinstripes by Wild Wes. Features include suicide doors, dual side mirrors, and a removable hood and hardtop roof. A removable windscreen with a brushed aluminum surround and a padded cockpit collar are included for top-off driving. A scrape on the underside of the nose panel caused by a parking stop was repaired by the selling dealer, and a before-and-after photo is shown in the gallery below.

Boyd Coddington wheels measuring 18″ up front and 20″ at the rear are finished in charcoal with a brushed lip and wear staggered-width Pirelli P-Zero tires. Wilwood disc brakes with red calipers are fitted all around.

The seats are trimmed in diamond-pleated black leather with contrasting stitching and are accompanied by matching door panels and carpets. Simpson four-point harnesses have been fitted, and amenities include Vintage Air air conditioning and a Bluetooth-equipped stereo with hidden speakers.

The three-spoke billet steering wheel sits atop an Ididit tilt steering column. An Infinitybox wiring system has been installed, and the body-colored dashboard features a centered instrument panel that includes a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer shows approximately 1,000 miles, 300 of which were added by the current owner.

The 347ci stroker V8 from Engine Factory is built on a Ford roller 302 block and is equipped with the following:

Roller rockers
Edelbrock Performer RPM cylinder heads
Edelbrock intake manifold
Holley Quick Fuel 650cfm carburetor with electric choke
Aeromotive fuel regulator

Ford Racing valve covers and open-element air cleaner

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO 6000 five-speed manual transmission and a Ford 8.8″ rear axle with a limited-slip differential and a 3.73:1 final gear ratio.
