This 1972 DKW MC125 is equipped with a 125cc two-stroke single paired with a six-speed gearbox and features a polished fuel tank and fenders. Additional equipment includes a Bing carburetor, an upswept expansion-chamber exhaust system, a kick starter, a skid plate, a chrome cross-braced handlebar, a black seat, and a side stand. This MC125 was acquired by the seller in May 2019 and is now offered at no reserve in Nebraska for off-road use only with a bill of sale.
The bike features a polished 2.9-gallon fuel tank with a copper stripe as well as polished fenders over a black-finished double-cradle frame. Equipment includes a number plate, a black seat, and a side stand. The seller notes a ding on the right side of the fuel tank.
Wire-spoke alloy 21″ front and 18″ rear wheels are laced to hubs with drum brakes. Suspension consists of a leading-link Boge front end as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm.
The cross-braced chrome handlebar carries black grips, a choke lever, and Magura controls. No instrumentation is present, therefore total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 125cc two-stroke single was manufactured by Sachs and was factory rated at 24 horsepower. Features include a 27mm Bing carburetor, a kick starter, cylinder head cooling fins, and an upswept expansion-chamber exhaust with a chrome heat shield. The bike is equipped with a six-speed transmission and a drive chain.
The bike does not have a title or registration. It is being sold on a bill of sale only.
