This Honda Motorcycles got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1972 Honda SL125 is powered by a 122cc SOHC four-stroke single paired with a five-speed transmission and was refinished in silver with red and black accents during previous ownership. Features include a solo seat, a cross-braced handlebar, a 21″ front wheel, body-color high-mount fenders, and an upswept exhaust with a chrome heat shield. The bike reportedly spent time in Arizona before it was acquired by the seller in January 2022, and maintenance performed in preparation for the sale is said to have included cleaning the aftermarket carburetor and changing the oil. This SL125 is now offered at no reserve in South Dakota for off-road use only with an owner’s manual, a tool kit, two keys, and a bill of sale.
The bike was refinished in metallic silver and with red and black accents during previous ownership. Features include a black solo saddle, a headlight, a taillight, body-color high-mount fenders, and a side stand. The seller notes a crease in the right-side tank decal.
Chrome rims measuring 21″ up front and 18″ out back are laced to hubs with drum brakes and wear IRC GP-1 dual-purpose tires that have date codes from 2021. Suspension consists of a conventional front fork as well as a rear swingarm with dual adjustable chrome shocks.
The chrome cross-braced handlebar is mounted aft of an 80-mph Nippon Seiki speedometer and a matching tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 3k miles, approximately 25 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 122cc SOHC single features a kick starter and a black-finished upswept exhaust system with a chrome heat shield. Factory-rated output was 12 horsepower. The seller states that the aftermarket carburetor was cleaned and the oil was changed in June 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a wet multi-plate clutch, a five-speed transmission, and a drive chain with a chrome guard.
