Summary[edit]

Description

Kashmir White. Built from July 1970-July 1971. The 2nd facelift on the HK; the HT the 1st, and now the HG, it got a revised grille again and the Powerglide transmission dropped for the Australian made Trimatic. All V8 cars got disc brakes. The HG Monaro was a great touring car but didn't compete on the track like the previous Monaros, Toranas were used instead. The GTS350 is still a very collectible car today

Engine; 308 V8. also available; 186 6, 253 and 350 V8s
