Description

The second of four images from a set of related Cartes de Visite. I'm uploading one each evening this week, each contributing to a nice little story, with a great discovery at the end! Stay tuned!

It is dated as being sent in June 1865 so the image must pre-date that. On the reverse it is captioned ...

"Kew Cottage, Kew Green EHD to CH June 1865 Residence of HRH the "Duchess of Cambridge" "

Given that the previous one of the Palm House is from a Mrs Davidson and to Caroline, then we now know that it must be Mrs EH Davidson to a Caroline H, but not really an awful lot more to go on there.
