What’s your favorite baby self-feeding spoon??
We have the munchkin brand long spoons (picture attached). They don’t work great for us as baby wants to feed herself and grabs the spoon, and she doesn’t get food into her mouth cuz the spoon is tricky. The scoop is deeper so it’s harder for her to figure out how to use her lips to get the food off the spoon. Also when she grabs it I can no longer see the scoop of the spoon so I have no clue if it’s in her mouth or not. And they’re just not the safest for babies to use on their own (y’know, it’s a long pointy stick). Baby clearly wants to do it herself so I want to get her some spoons that she can do that with :) Looking for something with a shallower scoop, not as long and pointy, and just something you love! thank you!❤️

I second that
My son is obsessed with the Dr Browns ones. Easier than munchkin
You want something with a short handle and a shallow scoop! Gootensils are great, ezpz tiny spoons are good too! Anything short and flat is good though!
I have these from munchkin. They’re good for self-feeding but not uncomfortable for you if you’re doing a combo of blw and spoon feeding. They also have a choke guard which is great. I think I got the rec from a feeding therapist insta page.

We use the numnum and ezpz
My daughter likes both!
We have the numnum ones but I like these better - they have two ends so I can spoon feed or he can feed himself. He loves them.
