This is a theme song from one of my childhood games! The Great Giana Sisters! Which, recently got remade through crowdfunding on Kickstarter, which is awesome. They even got Chris Huelsbeck, the original composer of the theme song to work on it. Here's his website: www.huelsbeck.com

Giana Sisters was a 2D platform game, similar to Mario Bros but it was bigger in Europe, where a less people owned a Nintendo 64, but owned the Commodore 64. My brothers introduced me to this game when I was only 4 or 5 years old. I think I probably watched them play more than actually playing myself. However, I loved the theme song, which I really think is a work of genius. Amazing what Huelsbeck did with just a SID chip.

The Great Giana Sisters is a 1987 platform game developed by German studio Time Warp Productions and published by Rainbow Arts. It is known for its controversial production history and its similarities to the Nintendo platform game Super Mario Bros., which prompted legal pressure against the producers of the game. The scroll screen melody of the game was composed by Chris Huelsbeck and is a popular Commodore 64 soundtrack.
