Palm-tree Posted July 31, 2020 Share Posted July 31, 2020 (edited) In 1/32 scale the red ball is tiny....could be created also by holding some heat stretched sprue close to a candle...the plastic melts and forms a ball the closer it is held to a flame. Same deal with a piece of microfilament ( fishing line). Here it is on the full size canopy.... I already tried the CA glue, PVA glue and heated sprue techniques but did not obtain something that was regular enough to my taste. I know we just removed one used water filter in the kitchen. So, I will first check that source. Otherwise, Bob's source of brass balls will do the trick. Thanks very much for all the proposals!
