yeah the shinobi weapon maybe something like this
a shickle with chain on it… or kamaitachi… maybe they use the chain as skill based action

Keep wondering now why people want a ninja with a katar (japanese combatant with a indian weapon)… that’s like wanting a Teutonic Knight wielding a yatagan.

As I said it is no longer my thing :)). Kind of burned my hand out trying to go semi-pro with Starcraft 2 ( can’t play as much as the good old days without getting a cramp ) so I stay away from strategy games… I don’t want any more baneling base pop PTSD flashbacks 
Im sure if they have a pistol weapon for archers, they may have some unique weapon for a hidden class…

Katars in real life are so ■■■■■■■ impractical it’s beyond insane.
- Riding around on an emu-sized bird hitting people with a shortsword
- Carrying around dozens of stones to throw at bats
- Carrying two sets of armor, three bows, and a buckler, switching between them each tenth of a second
- Every single thing about the Taekwon class
Katars, by the way, are little more than brass knuckles with blades sticking out. It’s pretty much dagger-boxing and they were indeed used historically to competent effect.

Actually, you can make a sort of assasin class within the archer subclasses. This isn’t RO, is another different game.
Real shinobi just use knife things for farming if I remember correctly (they do have ninjato though?) ? I mean real old ninja thats not coming from movies/stories or whatever media

They also had quite a few specific implements (gloves with claws and a armoured palm guard, glass shard canisters, smoke bombs, etc) and towards the end of the Sengoku Jidai they also had firearms ( Oda Nobunaga got shot twice by one and lived ).
