Finding light for Mexican Mint in your home
Mexican Mint may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Mexican Mint in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Mexican Mint
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Mexican Mint after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hi all! I’m new to this app. So I’m hoping someone can help me out! The Amish nursery I bought this baby from said she’s an Indian mint plant. Gorgeous and I love having her! However, I need some advice. Some of her leaves are dehydrated looking and others are very very wilted. I’ve not repotted yet because the nursery pot is huge and I don’t want to shock it anymore than it has been. How do I help this poor baby? THANKS!

Anyone know the cultivar name for this #coleus? Brought this little beauty home from the local Ace Hardware garden center yesterday to add to my growing painted nettle collection and cannot find a name for this specific cultivar anywhere. Google is having a hard time finding similar pictures to compare with, and Ace hadn't labeled them yet as they had just recently got them in off the truck. Anyone here familiar?? Whatever it's supposed to be called, I can't wait for hybrids with this fella. Such incredibly rich colors. 😍 Edit: Was finally able to identify with the help of community members here and on FB that this is actually a #perilla plant! Related to coleus, but not the same! Thanks everyone!
