Harry Potter Confessions

I despise the design of bowtruckles in Fantastic Beasts. I read my mother’s copy as a child, I remember bowtruckles resembling wooden imps, who guard wand-wood trees by poking you in the eyes with their two, long pointy stick-like fingers. I also remember them being vexatious little creatures in the video games. Who decided they were supposed to be cute, friendly leaf pets??
