Hi to all our members and volunteers! Just looking at this week’s schedule sees we have 94 hours of live programming. We need to get the word out about this immense variety of radio programmes coming from the town and here’s how you can play your part - join in the Print and Web Design Workshop on 4th April at the station – for beginners and advanced.

Upcoming Events Sat 04/04 11am Promotion Meeting Members who have and would like to have print design skills and web design are invited to join this workshop. Sat 4/11/18 April ‘Learn about Radio’ course. Please register at reception or email info@dundalkfm.com. Tue 21/04 7-9pm Child Protection Training, Community Offices. All members must complete this training. Wed 13/05 7pm- 9pm Dundalk FM Members Meeting, Community Offices. New members welcome!

Minutes of Members Meeting 18/02/09 Alan will forward details of this year’s CRAOL Training Féile and Train the Trainer to members for them to register their interest in attending – Féile weekend in Claremorris on 24/25 APRIL – 2 places available – excellent community radio training and networking event – no charge- email or call me to register – Alan (awaiting news on Train the Trainer from CRAOL).  We will conduct an internal and external listenership survey – to be conducted in April 09.  St Patrick’s Day Parade – we will put the OB Unit in the Parade, ask members to walk in the parade (t-shirts provided) - Thanks to Alan Bogan, Jason Kelly, Níall and Seán MacCárthaigh, Anita Guest and Caroline, Cíara Louí and Eóin for handing out flyers at the parade and to Paddy and Harry for their interviews with Jimmy McGee and participants.  Programme and Technical Meetings will move to Saturday morning at 12.00 and members are welcome to come along to a meeting. Welcome new members – Lorcan Finnegan, Caitriona Hodgers and Kevin Mackin.  Record a promo highlighting the possibility to listen in online.  Put up a poster - people who want to learn more about setting up their own website/People willing to help members set up a website.  Application for new licence is ongoing.  Transmission power is low – we need to move to a higher site.  Alan Bogan will pay for a delay system so we can have radio phone-ins.  We will have members meeting every 2 months.
