Elizabeth Haroian* (Stage Manager) Liz is thrilled to be joining the team here at the Hippodrome and with A Christmas Carol no less! Liz grew up in Hopkinton, MA; the start of the Boston Marathon. She now, somewhat begrudgingly, lives in NYC. Some of Liz’s favorite stage management credits are: 3/Fifths (3LD/3/Fifths), Symphonie Fantastique (Basil Twist), The Pirate La Dee Da (ATC), The Secret Garden and Sister Act (NYU), Grease (New London Barn), The Winter’s Tale (Saratoga Shakespeare Company), Richard III (Juilliard), The Polar Express (Rail Events/Warner Brothers), Maestro (ERC), and Much Ado About Nothing (ART). She’s also had the pleasure of working with many academic programs including NYU Steinhardt, The Juilliard School, Perry Mansfield Performing Arts School, Atlantic, and ART/Harvard. Amid all of the chaos remember to have fun! Mihai Ciupe (Scenic Designer) Originally from Romania, Mihai Ciupe received a double MFA degree in costume and set design from Carnegie Mellon University and his BFA from Art and Design University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. During his MFA program he was awarded the George Kimberly Scene Design Award and the Oren Parker Award in Design and Production. Prior to the United States he was the resident scenographer at The National Theatre of Cluj, Romania. During his former years he traveled extensively in Europe in tours with the shows that he designed, getting exposure to the various schools of theatre from England, Scotland, Hungary, France and Yugoslavia. As a designer he worked with some of the greatest Romanian directors: Gabor Tompa, Alexandru Dabija, Iulian Visa, Mihai Manutiu, Victor Ion Frunza. In 1991 he received a scholarship to attend The London International Festival of Theatre. Since 1995 he is a member of The United Association of the Romanian Fine Artists in the scenography section. In 1999 he joined the faculty of School of Theatre and Dance department at University of Florida, where he is now an Associate Professor in Scene Design.

WHO’S WHO IN A CHRISTMAS CAROL Keira McDonald (Props Designer) This is Keira’s first production with the Hippodrome, and she is ecstatic to be a part of this show. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Flagler College and has since worked as Props Master for Horn in the West in Boone, NC, the nation’s oldest continuously running outdoor drama. Christine Robertson* (Assistant Stage Manager) is thrilled to be working at The Hippodrome! Numerous AEA acting credits include Amalia in She Loves Me at The Theatre at the Center (Jeff Nomination, Best Musical, Chicago Area), Vi in Footloose at The Little Theatre on the Square, and multiple shows at the historic Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia. She originated the role of Lucy in the highly acclaimed world premiere of Kirke Mechem’s opera, The Rivals, at Skylight Opera Theatre in Milwaukee and appeared as Gabriel/Eve in The Creation, performing with the International Chamber Artists and members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. She is proud to have served her country as a member of the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band where she performed as a soloist with the concert band, the jazz band, and the elite protocol band, The Blue Aces. Ms. Robertson served on the voice faculty of Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois for 7 years and currently maintains a private studio in Gainesville where she teaches singing lessons and also the Alexander Technique. www.christinerobertsonstudio.com
