The Allandale team has produced hundreds of award winning wines. Allandale makes all of its wines on-site using state-of-the-art winemaking equipment. Allandale winemaker, Bill Sneddon, began his career in winemaking in 1983 at Allandale and became the Chief Winemaker in 1986.

The wines are of the highest quality and consistency, renowned for their distinctive varietal characters and superb balance of flavours.

The winery and cellar door are positioned up the hill overlooking Allandale’s vineyard stretching down to the creek. From the cellar door the views over the Hunter Valley to Brokenback mountain range are spectacularly panoramic. The cellar door is inside the winery where you can view a working winery encompassing the receival bin, grape crusher, stainless steel tanks and the oak barrel room. Also available is a small picnic area with outdoor tables and chairs under shady trees.
