We went there today not expecting too much for a touristy destination. After we were given an instructional video we started to walk through some of the rooms. It was really good fun in fact we got lost in one room and couldn't find a way out. This is definitely worth a visit if you don't have much on or if you're near the Chevron renaissance building. There are over 20 rooms to enjoy the lights sound and atmosphere.

It's definitely safe the kids as nobody jumps out at you and there's nothing that's too scary apart from being in the dark and feeling a bit lost at times. Just check when you buy your tickets how long it will take for the time it will take to get through the queue, as it took us over an hour but you would expect that during the Christmas period.

Huge line up to be expected at Xmas.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! There is a reason the information about this 'experience' is so vague. It lures you in... science, mystery, sensory... You take the bait and wind up feeling dirty and used. It's like a cheap carnival ride only I'd find far more enjoyment playing in front of warping mirrors than this.

Perhaps my age has something to do with it. If you let kids loose in here I'm sure their imagination would take over and they'd have a blast. But not for me. I just wanted it to be over. Take your near $30 and spend it on food, shopping, skypoint. Anything but this.

Seeing this place on the map and flyers I was intrigued as to what it was all about. When arriving there still wasn't anything really explaining what it was other than a few things saying 'sensory rooms' and as if it was 'science' related.

It sounded really cool so my partner and I decided that we would try it out anyway and paid the $26.50 to go through. When entering we were given white gloves and shoe covers that glow so you can see your hands and feet (mine didn't glow very well). We were also offered a place to keep our bags at no extra charge which is a plus.

The rooms are basically dark mirror filled areas with lasers and lights to create some really cool illusions. You go through some that look like there's no walls or floor and you're floating, to a super computer that looks endless. There's also a really cool section where it's looks like you're walking over a bridge over an abyss below.

Those are some of the good rooms but a majority of them I think cater to a younger age range or large groups and were not as enjoyable. Some rooms were very dark and hard to navigate to get out of them, there was an entire section that was a hallway that was pitch black with things hanging from the ceiling and hands sticking out from the walls. This section was rather annoying, boring and had very loud jets of air right next to your head (ear plugs may be necessary). I was eager to get past it.

At the end while there were some very cool room illusions but the not so fun out weighed the good and I felt a little jibbed of my money. The price is too high for the experience, which is a little bit 'sensory' and not 'science' at all. Just a lazy theme park house really.

We had booked tickets online to jump the queue but still had to wait 30 minutes outside with everyone else before we could get in. We loved the different effects of each room but unfortunately it's only a short pleasure. We spent approximately 1 minute in each room because the next group behind us was always on our toes. The rooms are all pretty small and most of them were very dark. Not suitable for children less than 8 years of age. We saw one 6 year old who was crying his eyes out, so they let him and his mum out and gave them a refund. All in all it took us 15-20 minutes to walk trough and we spent $48 for my husband and I. Would not do it again to be honest.
