We are down in Falmouth a few times a year for the past thirty years. I've watched the quality decline over the last several years but it remains an emotional favorite so we keep trying. Tonight was the last straw. Lovely gentleman seated us promptly. It took quite a while for our server to appear. Not very personable from the get go. Said he'd be back to take our orders - 5 minutes, 10 minutes and then finally at almost 15 minutes he appeared. Took our order and just took off - no cordialities at all. Over the course of our meal, we saw every one else's servers many times but not ours. Food was brought by other people. The main course - pan seared haddock with risotto and broccolini - had absolutely no favor. We couldn't send it back because our server was no where to be found. We gave up - seasoned our food with the small slice of lemon and had a few bites. Still no server to check in.
To make it worse, we sat, we chatted while waiting for the check. Still no server. I had to go up to the front of the restaurant to ask them to get me our check. To make matters worse when he sees the front end manager walking me back, he suddenly shows up and then gets angry at us for getting him.
If you don't want to be in customer service, then don't but please don't blame me for wanting to enjoy my night out.
To have spent almost $70 for a meal that was barely edible and left such a bad taste in my mouth was an absolute waist. Sadly flying bridge our years with you seem to have come to an end.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Apr 2, 2024
Situated on the picturesque shores of Cape Cod, the Flying Bridge restaurant offers stunning harbor views and delectable seafood. I chose the classic fish and chips, and every bite was crispy with golden batter encasing flaky fish. It was a bit different from what I usually expect but less oily and still delicious. DH had the seafood platter that he said was equally delicious. The accompanying coleslaw did not disappoint as it is house made and creamy good. As a self-proclaimed lightweight, I found myself pleasantly plastered after indulging in one of their signature concoction. But fear not, fellow cheap dates I don't drink and drive. You can't beat the views.

We loved the view, sitting outside and watching the boats go by.
We shared an order of the Bang Bang shrimp, which was good.
I had the ahi tuna with seaweed salad, which was very fresh and good.
My mom and uncle had the Angus beef burger.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nathan S.Providence, RI01Apr 12, 2024

This was a great spot for lunch on the water. Looking at all the boats was very relaxing. The food and service were great. My friend and I shared the clam chowder and a fisherman's platter. Both were delicious. The clam chowder was loaded with clams and had wonderful flavor. The Fishermans platter consisted of haddock, whole belly, clams, scallops, and shrimp. We split it, and there was plenty for both of us. It was lightly battered and fried. She also got a margarita and said was excellent.

Yummy food, a great view, and good service! We've come here several times over the last few years and the food is consistently good.
I usually get the clam plate ($37 as of summer 2022). The clams are huge and juicy. Perfectly fried delightful bites! Little pricey, you can definitely get cheaper clams in the cape but the ambiance is quite nice here. I also tried the tuna our last visit ($22). The tuna was good quality but it just didn't do it for me. Worth a try!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Upper East Side Rob ..Needham, MA4110765Jun 24, 2023
The Flying Bridge has been a long time destination for us. Post pandemic and under new ownership everything has changed in a very positive way including the branding, menu, and drinks.
Service has always been fabulous. Friendly servers always elevate the experience (Norman!). Water views and a breeze can't be beat, assuming you're sitting outside.
Let's talk menu. One of the new additions this year is Sushi, and the rolls I ordered were amazing. Highly recommend the SOS and Rainbow Rolls! They were both really tasty , but the SOS stood out. They offer a full sushi menu, in addition to all the standards.
Of course you can't review The Flying Bridge without mentioning the huge stack of perfectly battered and fried onion rings as a table starter. The desserts looked amazing at our neighbors table.
There's plenty of parking, and a nice walking path on the water.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Laura D.Acton, MA02930Nov 16, 2023
Gorgeous food, awesome presentation. We went for lunch and we got seats that looked out over the harbor. When it isn't busy it's got a nice casual bar setting but you can still order complete dishes. Even the waiter was friendly - turns out my parents knew him from when he was a kid! Nice having locals working at the restaurant
