This species can be seens in southeastern Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania. Although this one has never seen Australia because it was born in France in a breeding which includes many variants of this species. Moreover, it is called omnicoloral parakeet, because many specimens are the fruit of hybrid relations, and this bird with very beautiful red and yellow plumage is therefore a hybrid between two parakeets of different breed!
