Manticores are monsters encountered in the Fortis Colosseum, starting on wave 4.

Upon spotting a player in attack range, the Manticore will proceed to charge up a triple attack with all three combat styles. It will either use a range-magic or magic-range as the first two hits; the last hit is always melee. These attacks are launched one tick after each other (0.6 seconds), and unlike The Leviathan's attacks, players must pray against these attacks before the projectile is launched, rather than mid-way.

A manticore's attacks can be further enhanced in varying degrees with the Mantimayhem handicap. Tier 1 causes each orb to hit twice rather than once, intended to punish players who do not flick the attacks correctly. Tier 2 causes unprotected attacks to inflict venom, and tier 3 causes their pattern attacks to be completely random, such as a melee-magic-range combo.

Starting from wave 9, manticores will begin spawning in pairs. If one manticore selects an attack pattern and the other is within 15 tiles of it with line of sight, the other manticore will copy its attack pattern. If both manticores attack the player on the same tick, one of the two will have their attack staggered, not attacking until the other manticore has finished doing so. If they are not attacking on the same tick, this restriction will not apply.
