Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse are going strong.
The couple, who have kept their relationship private since it began in early 2018, confirmed in November 2023 that they are starting a family. Their little one had arrived by March 2024.
Prior to her pregnancy reveal, Waterhouse gushed to the Sunday Times about how “incredibly excited” she gets when the “Twilight” star calls or texts her.
“I think he feels the same about me,” she said in the February 2023 interview. “We’ve always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious.”
At the time, the “Daisy Jones & the Six” star admitted she felt “shocked” to have been with someone for so long.

Sparking speculation
The pair were first spotted together in July 2018, packing on the PDA in photos obtained by E! News.
Us Weekly reported at the time that Pattinson and Waterhouse had been together “for months” by the time they were caught kissing on camera.
The duo continued stepping out together but didn’t address their relationship until the following year.
Breaking his silence
The actor first spoke about Waterhouse while explaining his decision to keep their partnership out of the spotlight.
“If you let people in, it devalues what love is,” he told the Sunday Times in April 2019. “If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you’d think it extremely rude. If you put up a wall it ends up better.
“I can’t understand how someone can walk down the street holding hands, and it’s the same as when I do it and a hundred people are taking your photo. The line between when you’re performing and when you’re not will eventually get washed away and you’ll go completely mad.”
Instagram-official
In September 2019, the couple went Instagram-official on photographer Sofia Malamute’s account.
Waterhouse cuddled up to Pattinson in the sweet snap, sitting on the “Lighthouse” star’s lap and pressing her cheek to his with a smile.
As for her own Instagram account, the actress didn’t show Pattinson until an April 2021 upload featured a framed photo of the pair in the background.
Quarantine couple
Pattinson’s June 2020 GQ cover story revealed that the couple were living in London together amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pattinson, who was filming “Batman” at the time, pulled down his mask to kiss Waterhouse in rare PDA pics that September.
While Waterhouse was spotted with a ring on her left hand earlier that same year, the pair never commented on engagement rumors.
Continued comments
Waterhouse hit back at the “Gossip Girl” reboot in July 2021 when the HBO show referenced “R-Patz and … Suki Nobody” in an episode.
“Another day to be reminded that women can also be the patriarchy,” she wrote via Twitter at the time. “Seeing critiques of patriarchy and sexism, then I get name checked as somebody’s ‘nobody’ girlfriend. Make it make sense!”
Waterhouse later deleted the tweet.
Pattinson shared rare anecdotes about Waterhouse while doing “Batman” press in February 2022.
Not only did he recall her teasing him by chatting up an “obsessive fan” in a February 2022 GQ interview, but he also told Jimmy Kimmel his role in the DC movie made his girlfriend cry.
“She held my hand and touched it [to her face] and I could feel a little tear,” he said. “And I was like, ‘No way!'”
Red carpet debut
In December 2022, Pattinson and Waterhouse made their first red carpet debut after four years of dating.
The duo attended the Dior Men Fall 2023 show in Egypt.
The “New Moon” star wore a cream-colored suit and brown turtleneck while posing with his arm around Waterhouse in a purple dress. Although the pair didn’t show PDA, they were all smiles at the event.
Met Gala moment
The couple attended their first Met Gala together in May 2023.
Pattinson wore a Dior suit. Waterhouse, for her part, stunned in a sheer Fendi dress embroidered with flowers.
The glamorous appearance came on the heels of reports that Pattinson and Waterhouse had purchased a Hollywood Hills, Calif., home together.
Baby bump
Waterhouse confirmed her pregnancy news in November 2023 after months of speculation, pointing out her baby bump to Mexico City concertgoers.
“I decided to wear something particularly sparkly today ’cause I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on,” she said. “I’m not sure if it’s working.”
The couple were “thrilled” by their upcoming arrival, sources told Page Six at the time.
Wedding bells
In December 2023, Pattinson and Waterhouse sparked engagement rumors when the “Divergent Series: Insurgent” actress flashed a diamond ring on that finger while on a walk in London.
On Dec. 21, a person close to the couple confirmed their engagement, telling People they “want to be married” and that it’s “important for them.”
They added that Pattinson feels “very lucky.”
Party of three
By March 2024, Patterson and Waterhouse had welcomed their first baby.
The pair, who were spotted on a walk with a stroller in Los Angeles at the time, did not share any details about their little one’s name, sex or arrival date.
Waterhouse posted a picture of the “angel baby” to Instagram the following month.
