Sarah Palin's Trump Endorsement Jacket Is Very Spangly and Very Expensive: See 5 More of Her Headline-Making Looks

Sarah Palin's Milly bolero is causing a lot of controversy, but this isn't the first time one of her outfits has stolen the spotlight.

It’s been a few years since Sarah Palin and her many pro-USA fashions have graced us with their technicolor presence in the sober political sphere. Palin regularly makes the talk show rounds promoting her assortment of memoirs and throwing her two cents in as a talking head for Fox every now and then, but until this week, her appearances have remained relatively low-key. Then on Tuesday, the former Vice Presidential hopeful swung by a rally in Iowa to give Trump her official endorsement and give us all a gander at her impressively spangle-laden shrug.

The bead-embellished bolero in question comes from Milly and features silver, coppery red, gold and blue stripes, which fits right in with Palin’s traditionally super patriotic campaign garb. According to Mashable, an eagle-eyed Twitter user recognized the sweater from an interview Palin gave to CBS Sunday in November, but the real controversy surrounding this piece of apparel has to do with its steep price tag. The sold-out-everywhere bolero retails for $695, which for many people brings back to mind the controversy surrounding her very pricey 2008 campaign apparel (more on that below).

But while her embellished Milly sweater is making all the headlines this week, this isn’t the first time the former Alaskan governor’s style has taken center stage. Lest we forget the many sartorial gifts Palin has bestowed unto the world’s eyes, here’s a look back at a handful of her most trendsetting fashion moments.
