DIY Sock Bird Tent

Use a sock to make a sleeping tent for your lovebird or budgie! Measure your bird. Get a piece of thin cardboard, such as a shoe box lid or cereal box. Draw a rectangle on the cardboard to the size needed. Cut out the rectangle, mark the spots where the rectangle can be folded evenly into thirds and fold the rectangle on the lines. Fit a sock over the rectangle and cut off the excess material on the toe-side of the sock if needed. Poke a hole through either corner of the rectangle ends and hang the tent on S-hooks. Use the hooks to hang the tent on the wall of your bird’s cage in an area that it can easily access.
