Hi Kim Hales Arp, The wilting in mature tomato plant is evident during fruit setting due to a common symptom of Fusarium Wilt for F. oxysporum fungus. The plant require during this stage highest amount of nutrients and water but the process of translocation gets minimized due to the degeneration of cells at the lower portion of stems for fungal infestation causing Fusarium Wilt. As a result, plant starts withering from the top delicate structures, then the lower canopies. Pls ck in Plantix Library by clicking on green hyperlink and read details about this disease. Hi Sali The leaves are not turning yellow. Very pretty green, just wilting. Maybe bacterial wilt?

Hi Kim Hales Arp Thnx! Pls take a chance of oozing test for Bacterial Wilt. Cut a portion of wilting stem and keep in a glass filled in water. If any fluid oozes out, then you get confirmed that this is Bacterial Wilt. Pls click on green text and compare. Hope that it gives you basis to compare and confirm😂
