About this game

The Game is inspired by The Great Giana Sisters that was developed for Commodore 64 by Time Warp Productions in 1987. The levels are all new, while the game play looks pretty much like original.

The name of the game origins from Giana 8-bit, while 8 bits are one byte.

Game has 30 levels with boss on last. Spider boss can be killed only by shooting. A lot of shooting.

Most of the monsters you can kill by jumping on their head. Don't try to kill yellow worms, piranhas, yellow aliens or bouncing red balls, because you can't. Beware of the quick sand, it disappears quickly after you step on it.

There needs to be a way to get through the hard levels much easier. Starting from level 20, there are enemies that can't die & the fire on the damn pipes where the fish are at having to wait for the perfect time to jump is ridiculous and it's hard waiting for the right moment. Having to jump over the fire and wait on the edges on the pipe is awful. This game hasn't been updates in 5 years. It's a fun game, but it's unbeatable. Couldn't you have made it a little easier?

Very nice implementation. Slight lag or occasional mis-firing of on-screen controls can be annoying. Would be so nice if there was a level editor.

Cool clone of Giana Sisters, pity the levels are not the same as the original C-64 version but at least music is. Thanks a lot and nicely done.

What's new

Fixed jumping in a way Giana can have smaller jumps. To have a long jump (one that was always before) hold the jump button.
