Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Grease and flour a clean bundt pan
  3. Attach Creaming beater
  4. Add unsalted butter and golden caster sugar to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted until light and fluffy - 2 min, Speed Max
  6. Add egg, plain flour, salt and baking powder to the Kenwood Bowl gradually while machine is running
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 2 min, Speed 4
  8. Transfer half of batter to a medium bowl and set aside
  9. Add full cream milk and vanilla extract to the Kenwood Bowl
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted until smooth - 2 min, Speed 2
  11. Transfer content of Kenwood Bowl to medium bowl
  12. Clean Kenwood Bowl
  13. Attach Creaming beater
  14. Transfer content of medium bowl to Kenwood Bowl
  15. Add instant coffee and cocoa powder to the Kenwood Bowl
  16. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 4
  17. Transfer batter to bundt pan bit by bit
  18. Drag a skewer through the mixture to create a marble effect
  19. Bake until skewer tests clean - 50 min, 180°C
  20. Remove from oven and let cool - 10 min
  21. Turn out onto cooling rack until completely cool
  22. Add milk chocolate to a clean small bowl
  23. Microwave until melted and let cool
  24. Clean Kenwood Bowl
  25. Attach Whisk
  26. Add instant coffee and icing sugar to the Kenwood Bowl
  27. Mix with splashguard fitted until smooth - 1 min, Speed 1
  28. Transfer chocolate to Kenwood Bowl
  29. Whisk with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 4
  30. Transfer content of bundt pan to serving plate
  31. Drizzle cake with chocolate
  32. Top with hazelnuts
  33. Serve
