Actor Liam Neeson has expressed interest in reprising his role as Qui-Gon Jinn in the Star Wars franchise if he ever receives an offer.

However, Neeson said he would prefer returning as the Jedi Master on the big screen instead of appearing in one of the many Star Wars shows on Disney+.

In an interview with Comicbook, the actor said: “Oh, I think so… if it was a film. Yeah, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to TV, I must admit, I just like the big screen, you know?

"Qui-Gon, I can't believe it's 24 years since we made (Star Wars)The Phantom Menace, I just cannot believe where the time has gone. It was a terrific experience, shooting that film in London," Neeson added.

Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace was the first and last time we saw Neeson in the role of Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi Wan Kenobi’s mentor. Despite that, the character has still managed to become a fan-favorite among the Star Wars community.

Obi-Wan is set to have his own mini series on Disney+ and it has been speculated that Qui-Gon could be making a cameo appearance, potentially as a force ghost or in a flashback scene.

However, these latest comments by Neeson seem to indicate that those speculations could be false.
