Fish Tank Gaming PCs!

The Chinese computer case manufacturer MetalFish recently came out with the Y2 Fish Tank Chassis. That is basically a fancy name for this computer case that also works as a fully-functional fish tank.

The product is pretty straightforward. It is an aluminum PC case on the bottom. And, attached on top is a rectangular fish tank with five-millimeter thick glass.

MetalFish said they wanted to add the fish tank to the PC case in order to “make people feel relaxed and calm.”

The dimensions of this product are 14.6 inches by 9.8 inches by 11.4 inches, so it should be able to handle a micro or mini ITX motherboard as PC Mag puts it. There’s also enough space for 3.5 inch CPU cooler. And, the best part of all, it of course comes with RGB lighting and a remote control.

You aren’t going to believe me when I tell you this, but it’s not the first time MetalFish has made a desktop PC aquarium. The company also makes the Fish CUBE fish tank chassis, which is much smaller than the Y2 and only capable of supporting a Thin Mini ITX motherboard.

Either way, the new Y2 can be yours right now for as little as $75.

The Profit‘s Take:

For the most part, nobody would want to put a gaming PC in their living room (assuming you want a shot at a feature in Architectural Digest). But, with this, you might be able to get away with it. This makes PCs more palatable from an interior décor perspective. I still wouldn’t buy it.
