These delicious and super easy-to-make beef kofta kebabs are my family’s favorite and are the perfect summertime meal, with just a few ingredients like Australian grass-fed beef. ingredients

  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 2 lbs grass-fed ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, peeled, quartered, and ends trimmed
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • Pita Bread, for serving
  • Grilled vegetables, for serving (optional)
  • Sumac onions, for serving (optional)

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat grill to high heat.

  • Step 2

    In a food processor add the onion, garlic, and parsley. Pulse until coarsely chopped.

  • Step 3

    In a medium bowl combine ground beef meat, chopped vegetables, and spices.

  • Step 4

    Tightly packing the meat together, roll into roughly 2 tablespoon size meatballs. Place 2-3 meatballs, spacing evenly on the prepared skewers.

  • Step 5

    Grill kebabs for about 4 minutes on each side.

  • Step 6

    Serve beef kebabs on pita bread along with desired toppings and sides.
