Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably already know that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have broken up.

Yup. AGAIN.

The two began dating around the end of 2008 when the first movie of the Twilight Saga premiered. This trend of becoming a real life couple off-screen is not new, as we have seen it happen with Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens of the High School Musical franchise.

Not even Zanessa made it.

In 2010 the producer of Eclipse, Wyck Godfrey, stated “The thing that I think about is, ‘Oh my God, I hope they stay together.’ Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out. It’s like, wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies. God, I hope they stay together; please stay together.” To be honest, I hoped the same. The chemistry would be off if they broke up during the filming of the Twilight Saga.

The couple attended premieres together, celebrated birthdays together, and won best kiss at the MTV Movie Awards for three years in a row.

Inseparable, right?

Think again.

In July 2012 there were even rumors about them tying the knot but Robert Pattinson denied them.

Later that same month, on July 24th, 2012 we learned of KStew’s cheating scandal with Rupert Sanders, her costar in Snow White and the Huntsmen. Shame on the both of them! Sanders is a married man!

So they broke up. And then RPatz forgave her and let her back into his life. They began living together in March 2013.

She PROMISED Robert that she would never see or contact Sanders again.

This weekend they broke up again, and for a while we were uncertain as to why.

I thought it was because of an article I saw a few weeks ago about Kristen getting mad at Robert because they were living in his mom’s house. It wasn’t so much just that, but the fact that his mom wasn’t letting them have any privacy…

Or sexy time. Whichever way you want to put it.

But no. That wasn’t it. Kristen broke her promise and Robert found text messages on her phone to Sanders. ON ROBERT’S BIRTHDAY.

Gee, Kristen. Couldn’t have thought of a better birthday gift??!!

Sigh.

I guess forever is only in the Twilight Saga.

Since the break up Kristen has been leaning on Taylor Swift for support. Never even knew they were buddies. I guess heartbreak brings us girls together.
