Arnold Schwarzenegger was impressed with the physique of THIS Malayalam actor!

There is not a single gym out there that doesn't have the poster of Arnold Schwarzenegger stuck to the wall where he shows off his perfectly built body with that attractive 8 pack abs. All being said, did you know that the Hollywood actor-bodybuilder was impressed with the physique of a Malayalam actor? Yes, you heard it right.

It was the time when the renowned Tamil director Shankar was on a promotional spree for his Vikram starrer film ‘I’.The Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was called in as the special guest for the audio launch function of the film which was held in Madras. Vikram quickly took his phone to announce this special news to one of the ardent fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was none other than the Malayalam actor Abu Salim!
During a recent interview with an online media channel, Abu Salim opened up about his meeting with the Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ actor said that it was the Tamil superstar who called him to say that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be coming as a special guest for the film ‘I’s audio launch function. Abu Salim was all the way excited and went to Madras to meet up with the actor.

Abu Salim said in the interview that Arnold Schwarzenegger had tight security when he came to meet him in the Leela Palace hotel. However, with the help of the Tamil actor-stunt choreographer Besant Ravi, Abu Salim managed to get inside and see Arnold Schwarzenegger. At first glance itself, Arnold asked Abu Salim to come near and patted his chest with the comment, “Good physique.” Abu Salim further added that both of them had a nice two-minute conversation on the topic of bodybuilding and also Arnold highlighted the importance of building a good physique without the use of steroids.

Abu Salim also said in the interview that there was some sort of connection that he felt with Arnold Schwarzenegger at the first meeting itself and was a dream come true moment for him. Both of them later took a click together.

On the other hand, Abu Salim has won the title of Mr. India twice in the years 1984 and 1982. The actor who has played several notable antagonist roles in Malayalam cinema is also a police officer by profession.
Meanwhile, Abu Salim’s recent outing was with the Mammootty starrer film ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ where he played the character named Shivankutty.
