Yes, you read that right, we are writing about the world's tallest uninterrupted waterfall, Angel Falls. It is one of Venezuela's most remarkable natural marvel and has a staggering height of 3212 ft. From that height, it plunges for a mammoth 2648 ft and makes for a staggering sight in the Canaima National Park. The waterfall is named after Jimmi Angel, who was the first person to fly over the falls in 1960. His plane's remains on top of the mountain where he descended for 33 years, before getting cleared by a helicopter.

The waterfalls comes tumbling down from the Auyán-Tepui plateau in the Gran Sabana region. How to plan a trip to Angel Falls?

Needless to say, Angel Falls is one of Venezuela's top tourist attractions and sees curious visitors throughout the year. Of course, it is no ordinary journey since the waterfall is set in absolute wilderness, in the middle of dense forests. The journey also includes a boat ride across the river for some stunning views of Angel Falls. The most popular way to reach the falls before taking the river journey is to take a flight to the town of Canaima. Since the journey needs immaculate planning, it is never crowded.

The journey, after the flight, starts from Canaima, where you can also shop for handmade souvenirs. One can camp in the jungle there at the designated campsites and take a boat ride the next morning for Angel Falls.
