A Massive Sølve Sundsbø's Retrospective has Opened in a Former Royal Palace

Milan’s Palazzo Reale’s latest show, Sølve Sundsbø: Beyond the Still Image takes an exclusive look at the Norwegian photographer’s extraordinary work. Curators Alessia Glaviano and Michael Van Horne took on the giant project of selecting work from the artists’ twenty year career in the fashion industry. From Emmy Award-winning short films to glossy magazine ads, the exhibition immerses visitors in the fantastical world of Sundsbø.

By presenting the work in different angles, mirrors and formats at the centuries-old former royal palace, the photographers’ signature escapist and energetic style can be felt within each presentation. The show will be open until mid-December of this year.
