Lunar loving Kirsty Gallagher joined The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with cinch to give us an update on the New Moon and what it means.

The Cancer New Moon falls today, at precisely 7.32pm. Kirsty explained to Chris: “Now, the moon rules Cancer, so when the moon is at home in her sign, it's an even more powerful new moon. This is a new moon that’s really calling us home to ourselves. And this new moon has got an extra superpower, because we have what's called the lunar nodes. And then there's the nodes of destiny or the nodes of fate. They change signs a couple of hours after this new moon, which is taking us into a new collective destiny for the next 18 months. And so as a collective, these lunar nodes, the north node is going to be in Aries which is going to ask each one of us to begin to really trailblaze our way forward to begin to create the life we want for ourselves to begin to find the courage to be all of who we are.”

She added: “And the new moon in Cancer is going to help that because she's going to bring us home to ourselves. It’s going to take a little bit into our emotions. Our emotions are often signposts for where we're out of alignment in our lives.”

The soul and moon mentor, spiritual coach and Sunday Times bestselling author explained: “The best thing you can do for yourself tonight is just sit with yourself under the new moon, and even if it’s for two, three minutes, and to check in with ‘how at home do I feel in myself?’

Explaining that it can help you to “know yourself, trust yourself, believe in yourself”, she said: “You can then follow that north node energy where it wants to take you, because every single one of us has a part to play in where the world goes next. We're all here for a unique reason. And what that north node wants is for you to be authentically you, because that's all the world needs is for you to just be more you, and so this Cancer moon is going to help you to come home to you, to really love and own and embrace you, so you can bring what you're here to bring to the world.”

Kirsty will be heading along to Chris’ own Carfest this year, for SpaFest.
