It’s part of the Caesars Palace rebranding project…

Back in September of this year, we reported on some big changes that would be taking place at the Caesar’s Palace Dubai hotel on Bluewaters.

Friends, Romans, Countrymen

The Vegas-born brand is checking out of the hotel this month, and although our heart is in the coffin there with Caesar, we’re incredibly excited that it will be replaced by concepts from a collaborative partnership of Ennismore, the Banyan Tree Group and Dubai Holding.

We already knew that a large part of the existing Caesars Palace structure (the Residences and Palace Tower) would be reimagined as the Banyan Tree Dubai. And that it would feature 179 rooms – including 30 suites – plus a four-bedroom villa for VIP guests that features its own pool and slice of beach.

Because Banyan Tree is renowned for its wellness offering, a BanyanTree Spa will be a huge part of the offering at Banyan Tree Dubai. At this oasis of pampering, expect indoor and outdoor yoga spaces, a relaxation area, gym, mini rainforests, hydrotherapy pools and treatment rooms.

The timeline of the takeover, suggests that we can expect the official name change, and booking system tag-out, to happen on November 13, 2023.

Beach, please!

Today we’ve also received confirmation of another element within the overall Caesars Palace Dubai transition plans. That’s the reallocation of parts of the property to a new, Bluewaters Beach Hotel.

In terms of dining options in the two confirmed new operations, we also have some (though not by any means all) information on what the restaurant portfolio will look like. As Banyan Tree takes over from Caesars Palace, the restaurants will also change, so expect to see the closure of concepts such as Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, The Bacchanal, Venus Ristorante Neptue Pool and Beach.

Perennially popular beach club Cove Beach will also be changing location. Leaving its current Caesars Palace location, for a short hop across the bay to the super luxe new JBR property, La Vie.

As for which restaurants are getting the thumbs up from the deposed Emporer – it has been communicated to What’s On, that Demon Duck by Alvin Leung, will likely survive the rebranding along with The Robata and Takahisa.

Banyan Tree Group and Ennismore’s in-house F&B concept studio Carte Blanched will be responsible for creating the new concepts. Although details are yet to be provided, we can’t wait to see what they produce. Details have not been given on whether Cove Beach, which is independently operated, will stay or go when the rebrand takes place later this year.

“Bluewaters has always been a destination for major projects that redefine luxury and cement Dubai as a global beacon of the tourism industry,” comments Amit Kaushal, Group CEO of Dubai Holding. “Our collaboration with market leaders like Accor, Ennismore and Banyan Tree Group marks an important milestone in our ongoing journey of elevating the rich hospitality landscape in Dubai.”
