Dozens rescued from northern NSW floods as rain continues to fall
Thousands of residents have been devasted by another round of widespread flooding in the state’s north.
A search continues for a 55-year-old woman who was trapped in her car in Lismore’s south.
Floods levels in the city are slowly starting to fall after the Wilsons River peaked at 11.4 metres.
SES Assistant Commissioner Nicole Hogan told Ben Fordham they’ve carried out 45 flood rescues over the last 24 hours.
