Mark Trevorrow reveals the stories his alter ego Bob Downe wouldn't want you to know in his cabaret show 'Singing it Straight'. Gone is the cheesy smile, the polyester safari suit and the catty quips. Bob Downe takes a back seat while creator Mark Trevorrow takes centre stage. After more than three decades of performing as the 'Prince of Polyester', Mark has no shortage of hilarious stories that need no comic embellishment. Bob Downe may have had his fans in the fictional regional daytime TV show 'Good Morning Murwillumbah' but Mark told Jo Shoebridge he'll reveal all to audiences down the road at Brunswick Heads and there's a freedom in simply being himself.
