South Koreans killed in lightning strike

A lightning strike in central Sri Lanka has killed two South Korean tourists and injured three others.
Police say the tourists were sightseeing in the tea-growing region of Haputale, when they were struck by the bolt of lightning during a thunderstorm.
Earlier reports had incorrectly identified the victims, a man and a woman, as Chinese tourists.
The three injured tourists were taken to hospital.
Police say the group were visiting Lipton's Seat, one of the highest look-out points in central Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is seeing an increase in the number of Asian tourists visiting the island after it ended nearly four decades of ethnic war in May 2009.
