    The first book to be published by the first professional artist to settle in Australia sold for almost $100,000 at a rare book sale on the same day Max Dupain's landmark Sunbaker broke previous records.

    The two major Mossgreen sales were in Sydney and Melbourne. The Max Dupain sale in Sydney fetched a total of $1.66 million, an auction record for a photographic collection, and in Melbourne, rare books from the collection of a former developer scored a succession of $50,000-plus sales.
