Last week, Miranda Gillespie broke her own record, selling a 26-year-old Hermès Kelly bag in alligator skin for $27,000, almost $20,000 more than an entry-level bag costs in-store.

It was the most a customer had paid for a bag at Gillespie’s Brisbane-based luxury resale boutique, Luxe.It.Fwd, but she sees no reason that record cannot be broken again.
