A controversial news article written by ABC reporter Emma Alberici criticising corporate tax cuts was approved by the broadcaster's business editor, Ian Verrender, despite containing nine errors or unfair or unreasonable assertions or omissions.

Documents provided on Tuesday by the ABC to a parliamentary committee examining Ms Alberici's coverage show how the organisation scrambled to respond after they published a controversial article titled "Tax-free billions: Australia's largest companies haven't paid corporate tax in 10 years".
