Wild weather and flooding moves into NSW
Widespread flooding that devastated south-east Queensland on Sunday has swept into northern NSW, inundating homes and businesses and forcing some residents onto their roofs to be rescued.
As Brisbane residents began the clean-up job as the Brisbane River peaked at 3.8 metres on Monday morning, the “rain bomb” moved south, and the NSW Premier warned the catastrophic flooding could get worse.
