Burger King is piling the holiday gifts on its fans this year. First, the chain announced that Cheesy Tots would appear nationwide on menus the first week of December after a successful test run in select markets. The success wasn’t unexpected. Burger King had the tots on the menu back in 2016, and they have come and gone several times since.

The tots aren’t the only returning item to the restaurant’s nationwide menu. Earlier this year, BK Melts—specialty burgers served on round toasted bread—showed up on menus briefly. Now they’re back, and the burger chain is adding an all-new BK Melt to the lineup.

Burger King customers can choose from three different melts on the restaurant’s menu and pair them with the Cheesy Tots, fries, or onion rings. They’re set to drop the same day as the tots, Dec. 7, and will be on the menu for a limited time.

The Classic Melt has two flame-grilled Whopper Jr. patties, melted American cheese, caramelized onions, and Stacker Sauce. The Bacon Melt is the same as the Classic Melt with added crispy bacon.

The new BK Melt in the lineup is the Shroom n’ Swiss Melt with two flame-grilled Whopper Jr. patties, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and Stacker Sauce.

Burger King is tight-lipped about the exact ingredients in its Stacker Sauce, but the tangy, creamy sauce seems to be a combination of mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, and seasonings.

While the restaurant has announced the BK Melts will be on nationwide menus for a limited time, it hasn’t given a definitive date they will disappear again. If any of these three burgers appeal to you, get there sooner rather than later, or you may miss out.
