    This thing takes me back to when I was a young engineer, working on the J-58 and F-100 engines. At that time, we could use a borescope to inspect the engine parts, and it was very convenient. Those specialized tools were probably nearly $100,000 to procure, back in the day. (mid-1980's)

    The convenience and optical clarity are amazing! I used it to inspect the bore of my Thompson Center .50 caliber Hawken muzzleloading black powder rifle. Also, my .45 Kimber. It is very interesting to see the effects and wear in the barrels, and the fact that you can also record is really neat.
