Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I reluctantly gave this product even one star and only because it is, in fact, lightweight as advertised. That is its only plus. It is flimsy, unsurprisingly. At worst, though, it is very awkward and difficult to adjust, which you hace to do often if you are trying to use it for stairs and then continue to use it on the landing and into your rooms. It also will adjust itself when you least want it to, making it actually dangerous to use. If you can’t depend on its stability, it is useless and risky. If you need help with stairs, please do not depend on this. There is a stair-assist cane available from another seller which is just awesome and dependable.
Comes with a detachable bag. Practice with it on setting the legs going up and down the stairs. It does not come with any instructions and the booklet is in Chinese or some other oriental language. It is fairly simple to get how to use it. I purchased this to help my wife go up and down the stairs she has no right hip and uses a wheeled walker and wheelchair to get around other that going up and down the stairs. As compared to a normal walker that most people push around with tennis balls on legs. You need step up onto the tread that you have the front legs on stabilize yourself then lift it up to the next riser and repeat.
This is just what I needed to get up and down stairs I am 78 years old with bad legs and 235 lbs it works ok it took too long to get it, and there are no instructions on how to use the device
The instructions are in Chinese but above on this page explain what everything is and shows how to use the stair feature. There is also a video on this page showing how the stair feature works. I am glad I have this over a regular walker!
i weigh 230 lbs., very secure on the stairs. no assembly reqd. operation is intuitive. useless instructions-not in english. LOOOOONG delivery time, order this item about 4-5 weeks before you need. all that said it was a good purchase.
Everything is written in Chinese. There are no instructions in English. It wobbles and is dangerous if you need help going up or down stairs which is why I purchased it in the first place.
