I bought these bar stools for my daughter & son-in-law. They had cheapie stools so I decided to get these for them. Very sturdy & nice looking. I put them together myself which was fairly easy. The hardest part was the back to the seat. I really needed 4 hands but only had my two. It took me awhile longer to do that part but finally got it done. They are very pleased with them.

Easy enough to assemble - I did it alone in a little over an hour from the time I decided to start, and that was while moving at the pace of a snail because it was 5AM and I was still sleepy and being careful not to disturb my downstairs neighbor. They're comfortable enough and a good height. I like the way they look, too. My only complaint is that they're a little shaky even though I'm not very big. It could be nothing, but I'm concerned the inability of the legs to evenly distribute the weight coupled with the motion from people getting on and off might strain those welds too much. Maybe not, though. We'll see how they do

All good stories start with a catch phrase....except this one...I ordered 2 sets (new)1st set was clearly a restock and was missing an entire stool...2nd one was very cleverly disguised as a new with damaged packaging....until I opened it all the way up and realized the parts bag was torn open. and missing pieces....and I don't mean it ripped open in transit.the bag was ripped open and the everything was stuffed back in. I'm assuming the 1st owner saw the laminated particle board and flimsy metal and sent it straight back. so now I'm sitting here after marking the box of the 1st one with DO NOT RESTOCK for the benefit of the next unfortunate soul, missing parts for the 2nd one. and hoping against hope that the 3rd one I just ordered has enough spare parts to finish this set....I hope I am the exception to the rule.

First off I'll say I purchased these "used". They were significantly cheaper and I was terrified. Would it be damaged? Would all the parts be there? I ordered 2 sets. The first ones came and I put them together fairly easily. All parts were accounted for and they even include a bag of extras. Those came in handy because the second set arrived the next day and it did not include all the pieces. But with the extras from the other set I had the perfect amount. It worked out great. These chairs are tall and fit our breakfast bar perfectly. They are gorgeous and look so expensive. My husband didn't believe what I spent on all 4. I'm thrilled.

Upon opening my package, I noticed one of the stool tops had a blemish where part of the wood was chipping off. It took me 1.5 hours to assemble both stools alone, but in fairness I'm not the best builder.
